President Obama visited Cuba in March 2016, the first sitting president to step foot on Cuban soil since 1928. Just prior to the thaw in international relations between the U.S. and Cuba, Go Global NC board member Ted Fiske and his wife and Duke researcher Sunny Ladd led a group of North Carolinians to Cuba.
