The Global Teachers – China 2018 orientation gave delegates an opportunity to meet each other, learn about the expectations of the year-long experience, and to learn more about Chinese culture. Experts from UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University provided context for the program in China, covering Chinese history, the education system, and public policy. The delegation also learns more about the NC Department of Public Instruction’s Global Educators Digital Badge.
Spent my first day as NC TOY representing The Shire and Alamance Chamber of Commerce at Go Global NC- China 2018 Orientation. So stoked to share this journey with NC TOY Lisa Brown Godwin and Julie Paige Pittman. #NCTOYPOY pic.twitter.com/UKGgw5hsTs
