The NC Coalition for Global Competitiveness has released the updated Blueprint for Global Engagement 2025, continuing North Carolina’s leadership in advancing global engagement across sectors.
First developed in 2015 and updated in 2020, the Blueprint was the first statewide roadmap in the United States designed to strengthen global engagement across education, business, government, and communities.
The 2025 update maintains the Blueprint’s established strategic framework while reflecting renewed dedication, sharpened priorities, and a forward-looking commitment to strengthening North Carolina’s global leadership.
The Blueprint focuses on five strategic areas critical to advancing global engagement:

Developed with input from leaders across North Carolina, the Blueprint helps guide collaboration and action to ensure the state remains competitive in an increasingly interconnected world.
