Retired Technology Executive
Sondra Rivers-Kobler is a retired technology executive with 38 years of corporate experience and expertise in planning and leading complex technology programs and teams across varied financial products and global regions.
Prior to retiring, Sondra was a senior Director in the Global Market Technology division of Credit Suisse. She managed application development and supporting functions that provided technology solutions that enabled the Fixed Income business to maintain its competitive advantage and market share in a highly competitive international investment banking environment.
Sondra’s career has included the positions of Director of Global Syndicated Loans & Leverage Finance IT, Vice President of Investment Banking Division IT, and Assistant Vice President of US Trading Technology. She has lived and worked in the Americas, Europe, and Asia regions, and is highly adept at building and leading geographically, culturally, and professionally diverse teams.
Sondra earned her BS from New York University (Stern) and an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology. Some of the boards Sondra currently serves on include Research Triangle High School (Board Chair), UN Women USA NC Chapter (Vice President), and Triangle Women in STEM (K-12 Outreach Lead).
